Deciding to change my life and go from working in fast food to working in finance is no easy task, but it can be done. I remember looking at my resume and asking myself, “How can I present this in a way that will get me noticed?” I never went to college and only held two jobs previously. Both in the restaurant industry.

 

A lot of people told me I couldn’t do it, but I’m telling you it’s easier than you think. The hard part is getting the opportunity to showcase your talents and passion to succeed. I spent about 100 hours surfing the web and digesting everything I could on what companies look for in a candidate when they read a resume. There is a method to the madness.
